Fresh Watermelon Margarita

A Fresh Watermelon Margarita

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup sea salt, for rimming
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder, for rimming
  • 1 cup watermelon cubes
  • 2 ounces reposado tequila (or blanco)
  • 1 ounce triple sec
  • 1 ounce freshly squeezed lime juice, from 1 large lime
  • Watermelon wedges, garnish
  • Lime wedges, for garnish
  • Mint sprigs, garnish

Steps to Make:

  1. If desired, rim two double old-fashioned glasses: Mix the salt and chili powder in a shallow dish, wet the rim by wiping it with a lime wedge, then dip or roll it into the chili salt.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, muddle the watermelon cubes into a juicy pulp.
  3. Fill a shaker with ice and add the tequila, triple sec, and lime juice.
  4. Shake well
  5. Use both a cocktail strainer and a mesh strainer to fine-strain the drinkover fresh ice into the prepared glasses.
  6. Garnish with watermelon and lime wedges and a sprig of mint. Serve and enjoy.

Fresh Watermelon Margarita

Designer Deb’s Famous Pineapple Pie

Ingredients:

  • 1 Large box of vanilla instant pudding mix
  • 16 Ounces of sour cream
  • 20 Ounces of crushed pineapple with the juice (Do Not used crushed pineapple in syrup)
  • 1 Prepared Graham cracker crust (I use the the 9oz crust, but either will do)
  • 1 Container of cool whip or 2 cups lightly sweetened real whipped cream

Steps to Make:

  1. Mix the powdered pudding mix, sour cream, and the crushed pineapple with the juice until well combined.
  2. Spread it evenly into the prepared graham cracker crust.
  3. Top with the cool whip or whipped cream and chill for several hours or overnight.
  4. Enjoy!
