Luxurious bathroom with succulent wallpaper, triangular ceiling and pink cabinets

When inspiration strikes, you know it. You feel energized, excited, and hopeful. As we’ve mentioned before, inspiration can come from all directions. It can also come in many different forms though. A time in history, a song, a specific photograph, a place, or an experience are just a few examples of unique ways inspiration can be delivered.

Think of it like Pinterest. When you open your homepage, you’re met with a bunch of pictures from different areas of life. Sometimes it’s recipes, home ideas, style inspiration, DIY hacks, or all of the above. Once you start saving or “pinning” these images, you begin creating a moodboard that speaks to at least a part of your essence.

If you’re feeling stuck or overwhelmed with ideas for your home, turn to these other mediums of inspiration. Below, you’ll find examples of different sectors of inspiration that still speak to the mood and essence of a space.

At the end of the day, inspiration comes when it comes and goes as it pleases. It’s not something that can be forced or scheduled. Keep in mind that this jolt of energy you feel after just a single glance at something you love, or the soft pause that makes your heart flutter can come from anything. When it does come though, you’ll know instantly!
