We turned 20 today.

Most of you won’t invest the 14 minutes it takes to watch this video, and honestly, I don’t blame you. For us, though, it was an exercise in reflection.

As a small business owner, I’m usually so focused on right now, and the holy sht future, that I forget to look back at how far we’ve come. I tend to see the struggle when I should see the beauty… and the success.

I’ll admit, I’m a little embarrassed by the nice things people said about me. I don’t know why some of us do that, the ones who are hardest on ourselves.

What started as, “How do we celebrate 20 years? A party? No. Ugh. Let’s make a video—that’s easier,” turned into something completely different.

A gift.

Of words, and thoughts, and admiration—for my husband, my children, the people around me, this company, and all the clients who became friends and supporters.

Whether you watch it or not, I’m so glad it exists.

It’s a tiny time capsule we can look back on and say,
“Yes. We did that. And it was good.”
