KARR BICK FAQs
1. I need a lot of help! Do you have design services? How much does it cost?
Upon beginning your project with us you pay a design retainer fee which is credited back to you on your first materials purchase. We do not charge extra for design services. The design retainer gets you full access to the designer’s mind throughout your entire design process. This includes site measuring, existing layout plans, new layout proposals, material selection, and detailed cabinetry, tile, and plumbing designs.
2. Have your designers worked on a project like mine?
We are more than a kitchen and bath dealer at Karr Bick, we are certified design experts. Our designers have a combined 30+ years of industry experience. We are a National Kitchen & Bath accredited firm. We understand the pressures of the design process and remodel. We deal with it on a daily basis. We know how to design your space the best way for YOU. It may seem like a challenge to you but it’s most likely nothing we haven’t seen before.
3. Can I get ALL of my materials at Karr Bick?
Yes! We work with the best of the best in custom and semi-custom cabinetry. We provide all flooring, countertops, back splash, lighting, appliances, and fixtures for your remodel. We also work with great local interior designers if you need additional help with upholstery or window treatments in your new space.
4. Do you do construction installation as well?
“Install” does not begin to explain the extreme craftsmanship of our team at Karr Bick. We demo, install, and complete remodels with exceptional respect for the new space and homeowner. All of our clients rave about our team of guys who are always a welcome addition to any job site.
5. What if I have my own contractor/somebody to do the work?
No problem at all! We go through the exact same process with you. Any materials you purchase through us can be delivered to your job site or your contractor can pick it up from our warehouse.
6. What if I just have a small project?
No project is too small. We welcome your concerns and ideas for improvement in your own home. We can help! Whether you just want to buy a kitchen faucet, replace an old back splash, or upgrade to a custom vanity, our team can help you select the perfect product for you. And when you are ready for a full re-design our designers are here to help!
7. How long does it take until my space looks like a magazine ad?
You have to factor in the speed at which you are able to make decisions and the size and scope of your project. Once all the materials are selected, ordered and hopefully in our warehouse then work can begin. At that point a typical bathroom remodel can take 6 to 8 weeks, on average. A typical kitchen will take 8 to 10 weeks, on average. One thing is for sure, it will take longer than you think or want it to last.
